Notes from the Desk
The mist clung to the branches like a forgotten memory, silver and heavy. She hadn't expected the garden to speak, yet in the stillness between two heartbeats, the old oak shivered, casting shadows that traced the lines of a story long repressed. The ink was still wet on the page of her mind, a draft waiting for the courage to become real.
